2023 Veterans Day Assembly

On November 9, 2023, the Nodaway-Holt R7 High School Government Class presented the annual Veterans program. Students were honored to have so many Veterans attend their program. The program consisted of the Government class introducing Veterans who attended, the Nodaway-Holt band played the National Anthem and Taps, Flanders Field was read by Jr. Paige Hanson, and students Preston Jenkins, Parker Clement, and Courtney Woods presented a flag folding ceremony that explained each fold. Staff SSG Charles Andy Woods and SG Reed Rupp gave speeches on what it means to be in the military. The Government class then escorted the veterans to a lunch that was provided by the class. The government class would like to thank all of those who helped to make the program a success.
