275 Conference Choir

Nodaway-Holt Celebrates Veteran's Day

All Nodaway-Holt students attended the Veteran's Day Celebration, held at the high school.  The assembly started with the posting of the American flag, followed by the National Anthem performed by the band.  Tenille Shields, of Quilts of Valor,  presented three beautiful quilts to area veterans.  The high school choir sand America the Beautiful and the elementary sang My Country Tis Of Thee.  The guest . . .

Parents as Teachers Family Night

The first PAT Family Fun Night will be held Thursday, November 21st, 6:00pm at the elementary.  This evening is planned for all children birth to five years of age and will have hands on learning activities for parents and children to participate in.       COME HAVE FUN LEARNING WITH YOUR CHILD!!! JH Basketball South Holt Tournament Bracket

Attached you will find this year's South Holt JH Basketball Tournament brackets for both the girls and boys. The girls play Monday, November 18 at 4:30 vs. South Holt for Round 1 and the boys play immediately following at 5:45 vs. South Holt as well. Come out and support!

Open House for New High School

Come join us November 10th from 2:00-4:00 pm in celebrating the new addition of the High School. Cake, cookies and punch will be served along with tours of the new facility. Dedication is planned at 2:30 pm on the North side of the building. (weather permitting). Hope to see you there!

Bus Evacuation Drill

On October 23rd, Bus drivers conducted a mock bus evacuation drill. Bus drivers explain to the students the proper procedures for safely evacuating the school bus in the event of an emergency. The students practiced how to exit the bus from the rear door. WHEN TO EVACUATE: Normally, passengers are safer inside the bus. For a normal breakdown, the students should be kept inside the bus. Elementary Celebrates Red Ribbon Week

The elementary students spent last week celebrating Red Ribbon Week.  Red Ribbon Week celebrates alcohol, tobacco, drug and bullying prevention and brings to light the importance of making good choices.  Students had daily dress up days, decorated doors, and completed activities with high school students.

Trivia Night is Coming!
