March 26 School Update

The Nodaway-Holt School District will remain closed until further notice. Earlier today Nodaway County passed an ordinance 2020-1 in response to Covid 19 stating in section 4 schools shall remain closed until May 1. This Ordinance does not prohibit schools from providing child care and Food and Nutritional Services for those children that qualify. Teachers and staff may enter the building as long as they follow the directives of this Ordinance.
It is not the County’s recommendation to close schools until May 1. If information is gathered and county health conditions improve, this ordinance may be terminated sooner, allowing schools to reopen. Information and situations are changing daily.
Nodaway-Holt School District will remain focused on teaching and learning and we will continue our online and digital instruction along with nutritional services for our students. Even though we are in a time of uncertainty and ever-changing events we must stay focused on educating our students and meeting their needs. Trojan Pride!
