The 6th annual East Atchison Varsity Volleyball Tournament will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the Tarkio Activities Center (TAC) and the Tarkio High school with the Championship and Third Place game being held at the TAC and the Consolation game being held at the high school..This year’s tournament will be a pool play tournament starting at 8:00 a.m. utilizing the best 2 out of 3 matches, with all three sets being played to 25, if all three sets are needed. Championship, third place, and consolation games will all be best 3 out of 5 with the first four sets going to 25 and the fifth set going to 15 if needed.
Pool Play Procedures: 1st in each pool will advance to the Championship game, 2nd to the 3rd place game, 3rd to the Consolation game. If there is a tie, the tiebreaker will be the head to head matchup between the two teams.If there is a three way tie, we will use point differential to determine who advances.
Warm-Up: Each team will get their full warm-up until after they have played their first match. After their first match, we will utilize an abbreviated warm-up of 2 min. shared, 3 min. on, 3 min. off with serving being completed within the 3 min. your team is on.
