Nodaway-Holt Celebrates Veteran's Day

All Nodaway-Holt students attended the Veteran's Day Celebration, held at the high school. The assembly started with the posting of the American flag, followed by the National Anthem performed by the band. Tenille Shields, of Quilts of Valor, presented three beautiful quilts to area veterans. The high school choir sand America the Beautiful and the elementary sang My Country Tis Of Thee. The guest speaker, Michael Thompson, discuessed his time in the military and his experiences as a Vietnam veteran. The Nodaway-Holt district would like to thank all of our veterans for their service!
