Nodaway-Holt Elementary's first grader Camden Throener was chosen as the 1st/2nd grade winner of the North Central Missouri College/Trenton Junior College Centennial Coloring Contest! Camden and her parents were invited to the Centennial Block Party in Trenton at the main NCMC campus where she was recognized. Congratulations Camden!
8th Grade Promotion
Dear 8th Grade Parents,
As we are getting closer to the end of the year, 8th Grade Promotion is right around the corner, May 15th. A few things to start thinking about is that your student(s) will need a nice outfit for promotion.

Polo/Button Down Shirt
Dress Shoes/Boots
Girls
Slacks/Dress/Nicest pair of jeans

If you are unable to get one or borrow one, we have a used clothing room available for students. All promotion outfits still need to follow school dress code regulations.
Secondly, I will need a baby picture and a small child picture for the slide show. We will take a current picture a couple of weeks before promotion. Also, if you have any class pictures, group pictures, field trip pictures, or pictures from class parties, I would like to add them to the slide show. Please write the students name on the back of all pictures that are brought to me, you will be getting them back. You can also email me pictures @ nwhite@nodholt.org.

A few notes about the game tonight at South Holt:
1) Varsity first pitch at 5:00pm
2) South Holt does not plan to play any JV innings this night. No JV vs East Atchison.
3) Our playing field is located in Forest City and that is 3 miles west of Oregon and South Holt High School. The field is not at the high school. The location has no true address, but is in the Forest City Park behind Sur Ag Plant Food Co. You have to cross some train tracks to get to the park. (Image and map below.)
4) South Holt is watching the weather and will be contacting you if anything changes prior to the game.
